Steam Locomotive engine with tender from around the early 1900's. Extremely accurate and realistic. Built using manyblueprints.

Scale model is divided into logical components (eg: boiler, frame, valve gear, braking pipes, etc), and multiple objects are grouped together. There are about 100 objects in the scene! Model includes cabin controls, and most levers and handles can be manipulated! Many pieces can be salvaged from this model, including levers, wheels, chains and whatnot.

Model does not include textures but does include materials seen in the these renders. Materials can easily be changed. Rendered in Mental Ray.

This model is not suited for subdivision - it contains many n-gons and triangles. The geometry is otherwise extremely clean - no missing polygons, no ugly smoothing, no overlapping faces/vertices - clean render from any angle! Lights are set up, and you must only render.

3DS and OBJ formats do not include materials! OBJ and 3DS were exported from 3DS Max without errors.
