This is my spaceship design for the 3D Print Challenge: Sci-Fi Ships and my first time modelling a spaceship. I was originally thinking of working on a combat styled ship, something covered in guns and jets, that was until I started looking for references imagery and I somehow ended up on aquatic life and decided I wanted to model a spaceship around exploration. My main reference was using different parts of aquatic creatures and combining them with different spaceship parts to create a small spacecraft that could travel around nimbly. As well as making the design of the ship look interesting I also had to work on the structure so that it was 3D printable. I also enjoy working on assets for games and decided to make a low polly version that I am currently texturing.
