--General--

This is 3d model of the FA-18E Super Hornet by McDonnell Douglas
Native format: 3Ds Max 9.

--Geometry--

The model was modeled in 3ds max.
The Hornet is smootheable and easily editable. (turbosmooth, hypernurbs modifier) .
Interior and cockpit are included.
This model is organized cleanly on layers and consists primarily of quads.

--Rendering--
The rendering is setup in Mental Ray.
Only in the 3ds max version,mental Ray lighting and setup file also included.
No 3rd party plugin needed.
I also included a non-illuminated 3DsMax version with standard materials,(if you do not use mental ray)
Background sky is not included.

--Textures--
The textures are hand made with dirt and detail. The textures of the fuselage are applied with UV Unwrap. Some objects are not unwrapped (bolts, hollow tubes, etc...), Textures are 2048x2048 and 1024x754.

--Rigging & Animation--
In the 3ds max version,doors, wheel and cockpit cover have an easy animation with simple rig. Rear wheels are not animated

--Scale--
This scene is modeled in real world scale.
