Hello Friends,

My work has been keeping me away from GrabCad more than I like. But, I'm currently working on another engine project for fun. A steam engine this time, complete with a centrifugal "flyball" governor. My modeling is complete and it's time for generating the renders.

This is one component of the flyball governor which I'll be posting soon. It's an exercise with textures, an attempt to simulate a machined bronze sand casting.

I've uploaded my original Solidworks 2014 part file plus several other formats.

P.S. The render looks best if downloaded in it's full hi-res glory. =)
