Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This isn't a shiny, new toy train; it is a rustic relic of winter. We designed this steam locomotive to look like it has been braving a blizzard for days. It feels antique, weathered, and perfectly suited for a snowy forest level or a nostalgic holiday scene.
Heavy Icicle Details The most striking feature is the ice. Long, sharp icicles hang from the roof of the cabin and the front cowcatcher. They vary in length, giving the engine a frozen, chilled to the bone appearance that immediately lowers the temperature of the scene.
Rustic Pine Decorations To add a touch of holiday spirit without being too flashy, we decorated the sides with natural evergreen branches and large pinecones. They are tied on with simple rough rope, reinforcing the handmade, countryside aesthetic.
Weathered Iron and Wood The materials are dark and gritty. The boiler looks like old cast iron, while the cabin and tender feature dark, stained wood textures. This contrast makes the white snow and transparent ice pop visually.
Snow-Dusted Surfaces Every flat surface—from the top of the smokestack to the coal tender—is covered in a layer of fresh, powdery snow. This helps integrate the vehicle into a winter environment seamlessly.

Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: The icicles are the star here. Use a material with Transmission and high Glossiness (low Roughness) to make them look like clear, frozen water. If possible, add a slight blue tint to the subsurface color to make them look colder.
