Low-poly historical accurate reconstruction of a German burgonet (Burgundian sallet / Bourguignotte / Sturmhaube). This type of helmet was the successor of the sallet. It was used in the renaissance era and after. It was especially popular in 16th and 17th century. Burgonets were mostly worn by cavalry in combination with plate armor.
