At any time of the year you can be giving what I call big-little gifts; engagement rings, USB flashdrives with finished works of art or cinema, keys to new cars or houses, custom-designed 3D printed earrings (specially made for the person in question!)... the list goes on. You could just hand them over and yes it would be fine, the person receiving them will be very happy and they'll live/watch/drive/wear them happily ever after.
