Flowers are a great decorative piece, but this flower is unique in the fact that it is made of glass materials, with the exception of a gold material too.

While the flower is not photo-realistic in a sense of looking like a true Cherry Blossom, the photo-realism is more associated with it looking like it is made of ornamental glass.

The inspiration for this model comes from the act of people making flowers out of Resin and Wire, though I chose glass due to the reflections and distortive effects you can get when rendering.
