The Grand Mosque of Sultan Muhammad Tsyafiuddin II is one of the oldest mosques in West Kalimantan. It is located in the south of the palace courtyard facing the intersection of the Sambas River with access from the riverbank. This mosque was built on October 10, 1885 by Sultan Muhammad Tsyafiuddin II (the 13th Sultan) based on the vow of his mother, Ratu Sabar, to build a mosque. Although previously there was a place of worship in the form of a small mosque. Before this mosque was built, it was initially a small prayer room, the former home of Sultan Umar Aqamuddin I (the 3rd Sultan of Sambas), until finally it was built into the mosque that exists today. The mosque, which stands on a 60 x 40 meter plot of land, has a distinctive Malay architectural style. It was built with a stilt house model to avoid flooding, because the mosque is located facing a river. Architecturally, the Jami' Mosque of the Sambas Sultanate has a square plan consisting of 2 floors with a fairly large number of doors and windows. The 4-story roof with a rectangular peak space and a tapered crown on top, there are 2 towers on the left and right of the mihrab with the same roof shape. The materials used are almost 100% ironwood, including pillars, floors, walls, and roofs. The walls are painted yellow, the roof and fence under the building are brown. In 1975, renovations were carried out on the decayed pillars supporting the mosque and then wrapped in concrete. The Grand Mosque was designed using the Sketchup application and rendered using Enscape to produce a more realistic appearance. There are 6 layers of structural elements in the application so that it makes modeling easier and more detailed and neater. The textures and materials used are included in the SketchUp application. with that, everything shown in the preview image is included in the sketchup application which contains everything.
