Are you ready to print tons of greeblies and kitbash like ILM in the 70s? Then this is the project for you!

This is a Greebly Pack for Studio Scale X-Wings.

I made all the needed greeblies for all the different Hero X-Wings (Red Leader, Red 2/Blue Leader, Red 3 and Red 5) and also the Pyro version.

140 individual greeblies are included as separate parts. Some are also available as a grouped part.

With this Greebly Pack you can build a studio scale X-Wing, if you scratch build the fuselage and wings.

You can restore an old studio scale X-Wing kit.

Or you can scale the parts to enhance other X-Wing model kits as well. E.g. the 1/48 Finemolds, the 1/48 Bandai, the 1/29 Revell, the old MPC kit or the 1/18 DeAgostini.

General Information

You need to check your reference material or need to know which greebly goes where for the different X-Wing versions. I don't have a guide for this.

To get a better overview of the greeblies, I recommend to load all of them in Fusion. I made a short instruction on how to import STL files into Fusion.

Not all greeblies are complete kit parts. A lot of them are cut to shape to fit on the X-Wing.

Some greeblies need to be processed a bit after printing (cutting and sanding) to fit on other greeblies (e.g. droid strip). If you don’t want to do that, you can of course kitbash digitally and export your own grouped STL file. I recommend to use Fusion to do so, as the greeblies will be loaded in the correct position, when importing the STL files.

The needed chips on the Side Plates and the patterns on the Saturn V cans must be manufactured out of styrene.

If you choose to build the engines with the separate greeblies, you need to manufacture those chips as well. But the engines are also included as grouped parts with chips.

Printing Information

The greeblies should be printed with a resin printer to get the best result.

Min. required printer build volume: 130x80x165mm (WxDxH)
