It is designed to work with a 5v usb to 12v converter to work with a 12v led strip. But there is a hole inside to adapt a different system.

The 'glass' is made of 'opal' methacrylate, which distributes the light in that way. It can be bought at any DIY center.A template is included in '.dxf' so you can cut it on a cnc or print it on paper and use it as a guide.Also included is a file with a 0.8mm sheet to emulate methacrylate. It does not look bad, but the result of the methacrylate is better.
