The biggest project in hydroelectric power generation in Colombia, currently under construction on the Cauca River near the municipality of Ituango in Antioquia Department, Colombia.

8 turbines, Francis type, rated at 307 MW each one, for an installed capacity 2.456 MW

Preliminary construction on the dam began in 2011 and the power plant was expected to begin operations in late 2018, but due heavy rainfall and landslides in 2018 blocked the river's diversion tunnel, threatening a breach of the dam.
