Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a large overhead gantry, the metal bridge structure used on freeways to hold up directional signs. It spans across multiple lanes of traffic, making it a crucial piece of infrastructure for any driving game or city scene.
Steel Truss Framework The structure is built from a complex network of crisscrossing metal bars (trusses). This lattice design is realistic and shows how engineering is used to make the bridge strong but lightweight enough to span long distances.
Large Blank Green Sign Suspended in the center is a massive green signboard with a white border. It is currently blank, serving as a perfect canvas for you to add your own destination names, exit numbers, or warnings.
Lane Indicator Arrows Underneath the main sign, there are three yellow directional pointers. In the real world, these show drivers which lane leads to a specific exit or route, adding an extra layer of functional detail to the model.
Anchored Concrete Bases The two vertical support pillars are bolted onto thick square concrete slabs. These heavy bases ground the structure visually, showing exactly how it is secured to the side of the road.
