The Astra was developed as an improved version of the Jet Commander by IAI . This aircraft as built by IAI under licenses held from other manufacturers. Later it evolved further into the Galaxy and then the Gulfstream 100 series of aircraft. This aircraft seated about 4-6 passengers and 2 crew. It is built by IAI in Israel.
