The ICPS stage is an upper stage currently used by SLS, NASA's next-generation Moon rocket. Using a single RL-10 engine, this stage provides efficient fuel usage and long-distance astronaut carrying capacity. ICPS made the first flight with the SLS in 2022, and new ones are being produced for other flights. ICPS will serve important roles in the next decade.
