This is a fully detailed, reverse engineered planetary gearbox with all its internal parts carefully modeled according to design standards.All parts were modeled using Solidworks 2020 with accurate dimensions and the assembly made with appropriate mates including the realization of the gears' motion.The design can be easily reproduced using conventional manufacturing methods (lathe, mill, boring machine, gear shaper), and all off-the-shelf parts like bearings, circlips and bolts are stated in the corresponding part numbers.If the detailed engineering drawings for the assembly is required, please contact me.The technical details of this particular gearbox are as follows:

  • Maximum Input torque: 332.3 N.m
  • Input design speed: 1500 RPM
  • Maximum output torque: 8900 N.m
  • Maximum input power: 70 hp
  • Total reduction ratio: 33.0625
  • Number of stages: 2
  • Stage 1 reduction ratio: 5.75
  • Stage 2 reduction ratio: 5.75
  • Output flange pitch circle diameter: 295 mm
  • Output flange bolt size: M20
  • Maximum height (with motor): 1379.1 mm
  • Maximum height (without motor): 851.1 mm
  • Largest casing diameter: 430 mm

The design was modeled in Solidworks 2020 and rendered in Keyshot 10, while the following formats are included:STL, FBX, OBJ, CGR, BIP, X_T, and of course SLDASM.

All parts are virtual to the assembly file, which means that you don't have individual parts outside of the assembly file. This makes things easier as the entire assembly can be saved in one SLDASM file. If you need individual parts, you can either save them from inside the assembly, or contact me and I will send you the referenced parts and another assembly file that refers to them.
