Historical Note: The Brazilian ironclad Sete de Setembro was a wooden-hulled armored frigate built for the Brazilian Navy, its name is in honor of the Day of the Proclamation of Independence of Brazil, on September 7, 1822. It was built in the Navy Arsenal of Rio de Janeiro, according to the plans of Napoleão João Baptista Level. He had keel beat on January 8, 1868, was thrown into the sea on May 16, 1874 and was sampled in Armament and incorporated on July 4, 1874. He performed several commissions until being decommissioned in 1885, entering works .
