鹿苑寺（ろくおんじ），是位于日本京都市北区的临济宗相国寺派的寺院。其中，内外都贴满了金箔的三层楼阁建筑（舍利殿）也被称为金阁，包括舍利殿在内的寺院整体也被称为金阁寺（きんかくじ）。该寺为相国寺的山外塔头寺院。鹿苑寺寺名源自于寺院的创立者即室町幕府3代将军足利义满的法号·鹿苑院殿。山号为北山（ほくざん）。寺纹为五七桐。该寺院是在义满死后，将他原来的北山山庄改成的寺院。舍利殿本是室町时代前期北山文化的代表建筑，但是于昭和25年（1950年）的金阁寺放火事件中被完全烧毁，并于昭和30年（1955年）重建。平成6年（1994年）12月，鹿苑寺全境作为“古都京都的文化财”的一部分被联合国教科文组织指定为世界文化遗产中的重要历史建筑。 [1]
