Description

1/1800th scale I-400 class submarine model. Certain elements not to scale.

The I-400 class was a set of three submarine aircraft carriers built by the Japanese Navy towards the end of the war. They were the largest submarines ever built, and they held that record for over fifteen years before the construction of the first nuclear submarines. The I-400's were designed to have a range large enough to travel anywhere in the world and back. They carried three multi-role float planes in their hangar.

This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.

Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
