As my first model on CG Trader, this 3.2m span model of the popular JS3 competition sailplane is offered for scale aero modelers and general enthusiasts alike. Digital and actual models are hard to come by so I decided to make my own of both. It's been modeled and rendered entirely in Fusion 360. I've modelled it as accurately as possible with what references are available.

Aerodynamic features include an HQ 3,0-12 airfoil used in other sailplane models of this size optimised for thermal work as well as span wise washout with wing incidence angles of +3 degrees at the root to -1.5 degrees at the wing tip. You can of course modify these features to suit your needs if you intend to build one.

I intend to build up a collection of modern gliders and feedback from those that this model appeals to will be appreciated.
