Ononsa Temple, a guest temple in Gwacheon-hyeon during the Joseon Dynasty, was built in the 27th year of King Injo’s reign (1649). According to Gwacheon-hyeon Sinsu-eupji, Gaeksadongheon was founded by Yeo Yeo Yeon-hong (serving from 1649 to 1651), who was the county governor at this time. It was originally located at the current Jungang-dong office, but was moved to this location in 1986.
