- Railway signals indicate whether and at what speed sections of track may be travelled on.
- The model was developed and optimised for real-time applications such as 3D visualisations or computer games, but it is also suitable for complex renderings and was used to train an AI image recognition system for the German railway network.
- In order to make the placement of the 3D model as simple as possible, the insertion points of the objects were sensibly set at ground level.
- The textures have a resolution of 4096 x 4096 px and follow the PBR workflow (Basic Color, Roughness, Metalness, Normal).
- Eisenbahnsignale zeigen an, ob und mit welcher Geschwindigkeit Streckenabschnitte befahren werden dürfen.
- Das Modell wurde für Echtzeitanwendungen wie 3D-Visualisierungen oder Computerspiele entwickelt und optimiert, eignet sich aber auch für komplexe Renderings und wurde verwendet, um ein KI-Bilderkennungssystem für das deutsche Eisenbahnnetz zu trainieren.
- Um die Platzierung des 3D-Modells so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten, wurden die Einfügepunkte der Objekte sinnvoll auf Höhe des Bodens gesetzt.
- Die Texturen haben eine Auflösung von 4096 x 4096 px und folgen dem PBR-Workflow (Basic Color, Roughness, Metalness, Normal).
