LAU-68 (LAU-131) Rockert Launchers for Hydra 70.

LAU-68D/A is 7-Tube Rocket Launcher with external thermal protection coating used by US Navy and US Marine Corps.LAU-131/A is the same construction but without thermal protection and used by US Air Force.LAU-68F/A Launcher is 11.25 inches longer than the legacy LAU-68D/A Launcher as was designed to allow the entire guidance section of the APKWS II to be contained within the launcher structure.Like the LAU-68D/A, the LAU-68F/A has a thermal protective coating on the exterior surface.Unlike the LAU-68D/A, the LAU-68F/A lacks a forward firing receptacle.And there is only one 5-pin receptacle that electrically connects the launcher to the aircraft armament circuit.
