Upgrade your 1/16 scale Heng Long M1A2 Abrams with this fully 3D-printable road wheel assembly!

This road wheel replacement is designed specifically for FDM 3D printing. It eliminates wheel wobble and provides a smooth ride under heavy loads thanks to a dual-bearing hub.

Please note: TPU tires will be published as a separate product in the near future.

Hardware Required (Bill of Materials per wheel):

  • 2x Bearings 5x10x4mm
  • 3 x M2x10mm Screws
  • 8 x M1.4x3mm Screws
  • 3 x M2x4x3.5 Heat-Set Threaded Inserts (Brass)
  • ~ 40mm length 1.75 mm plastic filament snippet (used as centering dowel pins)

I made the test print with BambuLab P1S, 0.2mm nozzle, PLA, using Smooth plate (bed). The model is fully compatible with a standard 0.4mm nozzle, though please note that extremely fine details, such as bolt heads, may appear less sharp compared to printing with a finer nozzle.
