Mounted on the powerful Caprina chassis, the M48D2 is the mobile-artillery workhorse of the Starborne. Equipped with either with the M20 Long Tom field gun or the heavyweight M10A1 Siege Gun, it shatters the enemy with long range bombardment. The M48D2 has been nicknamed the Rolling Tom by Starborne forces for its ponderous tracks as well as the rolling waves of shells that it fires.
