Description

This model was built near to scale with lots of detail. It includes a well detailed cockpit and engines. It has animateable features such as landing gear, propellers, ailerons, flaps, cowling flaps, rudder, elevators and tail wheel. This model is fully textured and is available in several different formats.

The Martin B-10 was the United States first all metal bomber developed for and used by the Army Air Corps. It also had performance that exceeded the patrol and pursuit aircraft of it’s day. With it’s all metal monoplane design started a design revolution that modernized aircraft that followed it. The only surviving complete B-10 is located at the United States Air Force Museum. It had been in service with the Argentine Air Force until the 1960s.

This aircraft served until the early 1940s seeing service into World War II. Many saw service with other nations including Nationalists China, Argentine, Netherlands East Indies, Siam and others.
