Medieval Siege

This model is part of the Medieval Siege Engine collection. This is a mobile ballista which can be moved around the battlefield by soldiers. Much like a giant bow, the ballista uses elastic rope to put tensions on large wooden limbs. When released, the limbs shoot forward, propelling a large javelin great distances forward.
