Printable bow thruster for scale model ships.
For 3D print.
Parts for 2 versions to build:
a) working propeller with bevel gears
b) side blade prop
Dimensions:
inner diameter 24 mm
width 70 mm (+extension parts)
height 85mm (without motor), depends on bow thruster inner diameter size
propeller 4 blades
Printing: FDM printer with NOZZLE 0.25mm!, material ABS, layer 0.1mm, no support , no brim, 20% cooling from layer 4 upwards is recommended (or better required)
For assembly a glues for plastic and metal are needed (for eg. Revell Contacta for ABS-ABS and UHU Plus for metal-ABS).
PDF instructions included.
Additional required parts:
Stainless steel rods and brass tubes - check attached table for dimensions
Motor with diameter 27.5 mm (for eg. Johnson RS-365 or RS-385 or similar)
optionally an elastic hose (5mm inner diameter for printed 5.4mm parts) or other coupling between motor (2.3mm) and steel rod (2mm) for top mounted motor
A full kit is also available if requested (all parts printed + all additional required parts, without motor). Please write me a message.
