As I develop designs to share, I try to add models from a range of ideas. This is a building that can be used as a boiler room or something similar to add extra detail to a scene. As many models don't have internal detail, I wanted this model to have internal brickwork to help enhance the look through the windows.
The brickwork and roof are one part, but the doors and windows are separate items. Please refer to the photos on how I printed the parts. Windows just need some clear plastic glued to the inside surface of the glass.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale,For N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not tested printing this in N gauge scale).
The example in the pictures was printed on a Bambu Labs A1 mini FDM printer.I printed the building with a 0.4mm nozzle with a layer height of 0.08mm and the windows, door and drain pipe were printed with a 0.2mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.06mm.This model can be printed on either an FDM or resin printer, but for scales smaller than OO/HO I would recommend a resin printer. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
