Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a 5-story loft style apartment building. It mimics the look of an old factory or warehouse that has been converted into trendy modern apartments, a very popular style in gentrified city districts.
Large Grid Windows The most defining feature is the massive, floor-to-ceiling windows. They feature black metal frames divided into a grid pattern (mullions), which allows huge amounts of light into the rooms and gives the building its distinct industrial character.
Uniform Red Brick The exterior is clad in clean red brick. Unlike the gritty tenement building, this brickwork looks well-maintained and uniform, suggesting a recently renovated or newly constructed high-end property.
Suspended Metal Balconies On the sides of the building, there are rows of black metal balconies projecting outward. These provide outdoor space for the residents and break up the flat surface of the brick walls with functional 3D detail.
Commercial Ground Floor The street level is framed in heavy black metal with large glass display windows. This area is designed for commercial use, such as a coffee shop, gym, or boutique, making the building a mixed-use asset.
