This is a complete 3D printable modular laser cutter frame system, originally designed for a DIY 20W 450nm diode laser machine. All parts were tested and used in a real working laser cutter, built entirely with consumer-grade PLA and standard M3 fasteners.

The design is based on 1-inch square beam modules with a unique tooth-lock pattern, allowing you to snap together structural frames similar to T-slot aluminum, but fully printable. This kit includes corner brackets, inline joints, motor mounts, rail supports, drag chain mounts, a manual Z-axis scissor jack, anti-backlash couplers, limit switch mounts, and more.

Features:

Modular frame design with printable 1x1 beam segments and interlocking teeth

Printable brackets and connectors for easy assembly and reconfiguration

Stepper motor mounts and CNC rail supports designed for NEMA 17 + T8 lead screw systems

Flexible anti-backlash couplers (PLA-optimized) to reduce binding

Air assist nozzle for 20W 450nm laser modules

Z-stage scissor jack platform for manual focus adjustment

Cable management clips and drag chain mounts included

Designed for M3 screws and common 3D printer tolerances (0.2mm layer height recommended)

Compatibility:

Fits NEMA 17 stepper motors

Designed for T8 lead screws (300mm)

Tested with Arduino + CNC Shield + GRBL firmware

Optimized for standard FDM 3D printers (PLA, PETG)

Notes:_This system was originally designed and built for my personal desktop laser cutter, which powers my small engraving shop. It’s a great base for light-duty laser builds or other custom gantry-style projects. Frame size and layout can be scaled by reprinting longer beam segments. Designed with simplicity, flexibility, and hobbyist fabrication in mind._
