This is a DIY Kit for turning your RC car into a offroad juggernaught. Meant for 4wd vehicles using a 12 mm drive hex. It was designed to be a direct bolt on for the 4wd Traxxas Stampede but will fit many other vehicles with a 12mm drive hub. The drive hubs could be altered to fit whatever vehicle you are running. You could also bolt two on the rear of a 2WD and really have something interesting.. the possibilities are endless. (Note) (There isn't a part i because capital i's look like 1's and didn't want confusion) We added a Bumpstop plate that should be printed in TPU or a soft material that will prevent the tracks from doing a full rotation ,it will still allow the individual tracks at each end 'float' and semi rotate with the terrain but will stop it from doing a full rotation. All files have been updated.
(Materials) All parts is recommended to be printed in ABS or stronger material the Track pieces themselves were designed to be printed in TPU we tested with a Hardness rating of 95A feel free to experiment however you see fit.
(PARTS NEEDED: NOT INCLUDED) (4qty - 20x32x7 mm Bearings , 16 qty- 5x11x4 mm bearings, 8qty - 2.5 x 10mm steel pins, 4 qty 3637 Traxxas axle packs 8 individual axles in all, 52qty M4x20 mm machine screws, 20qty M4 locknuts, 200 qty 2mm x 50 mm steel rod for tracks, ) UxCell has a very good price in hardware and bearings, Order the Traxxas axles from traxxas and not Amazon because they will combine shipping. Also addition of M2 machine screws or self tapping as some of the lower holes have been resized for strength and weight purposes.
