The motor whale boat was used on US destroyers and other ships as a lifeboat and ship-to-shore transport. It could carry 22 men with a range of 110 nautical miles powered by a 25 HP diesel at 7 knots. Length 26', beam 7'4", and draft 2'4" constructed from wood. A simple but detailed model with no meshsmooth applied.
