The mighty Mount Rushmore Monument and surrounding landscape. Triangulated mesh, fully scaled, georeferenced, generated from sets of imagery with controlled precision to ensure proportions integrity. The model combines three different meshes: the rock carved monument(medium resolution), main rock massif and 1784ac/722ha of surrounding area (low resolution) and finally 23417ac/9476ha of extended coarse relief to increase horizon. Mind that these extra models are purely to compose the scene. I also added several particle systems to replicate treed and rockslide areas (modeled trees and rocks included in two different collections). These are disabled on viewport to increase performance but they'll show up on rendering. The scene includes also three light sources. The main one is coherent with HDRI light and with model intrinsic shadows, the others should enhance light across the whole scene. Finally I trimmed and remeshed the model to generate a compact and clean 3D printable version (less detailed, regular tris, not tested). The package includes the full Blender scene (.blend) and this is the source file of presented thumbnails, two sets of raw files, one at original coordinates the other with shifted origin (.obj+.mtl+.png base textures) and finally the 3D printable file (.stl). Shown grid not included. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION AND CHECK ALL THUMBNAILS BEFORE BUY.
