Mountain landscape and cityscape Lauterbrunnen Switzerland

Lauterbrunnen (German: Lauterbrunnen) is a commune in Switzerland, in the canton of Bern.

It is part of the Interlaken district. The population is 3065 people (31 December 2006). The official code is 0584.

Near the city is one of the highest waterfalls in Switzerland - the Staubbach waterfall. Also nearby is the Trummelbach Falls.
