Lonquimay Volcano is a truncated cone-shaped stratovolcano of late Pleistocene to predominantly Holocene age. The cone is primarily andesitic, although basaltic and dacitic rocks are also present. It is located in the La Araucanía region of Chile, immediately southeast of Toluaca Volcano.
