Taranaki is a volcano with a regular cone-shaped shape in the west of the North Island of New Zealand with a height of 2518 meters. Located on the territory of the region of the same name. Also known as Mount Egmont. Due to its resemblance to Mount Fuji, Volcano Taranaki served as a backdrop in the film The Last Samurai.
