This model has been inspired by the famous Soviet MT-LB.
Because of a long list of operators, a decision has been made to not include any insignia so that the model could be used for practically any nation, such as:
- USSR
- Ukrainian Armed Forces
- Russian Armed Forces
The model itself was done in such a way to be suitable for easy rigging and animating. This means that the parts that are usually animated are separate objects (cupola, turret, wheels, tracks...).
To change the texture (in Blender) all you have to do is select a different texture under the Skin material.
This model does not have a modelled interior.
The MTLB, or Multi-Purpose Light-Armored Towing Vehicle, is a Soviet and later Russian amphibious armored personnel carrier (APC). It was designed to transport infantry across a variety of terrains, including water obstacles, and provide fire support with its armament. Introduced in the 1960s, it has seen extensive service in various conflicts and has been adapted into numerous specialized variants, including command vehicles, self-propelled artillery, and anti-aircraft platforms. Its versatility, robustness, and adaptability have made it a staple in many armored forces around the world.
