Description
This project features a nose section blank from the 'Stallion' model, with geometry faithfully reproduced to closely match the original design. It solves a common issue you’ll face if you attempt major modifications to the nose section — the surface geometry is slightly complex, meaning you can’t just patch the gaps with a quick fix.
With this blank, you’ll receive a part with no pre-cut camera lens aperture or mounting holes. This gives you full flexibility: either relocate the camera entirely (e.g., to a gimbal) or cut new apertures to accommodate a completely different camera size.
Additionally included is a specialised template file (grid_cutter) that enables you to cut ventilation grilles into your final design (using a boolean operation) that precisely match the original's appearance - simply to maintain that factory-standard, aesthetically pleasing look.
