This asset recreates a classic beam-pump (“pumpjack”) with all essential parts: base, A-frame, walking beam, horsehead, pitman arms, counterweight housing, ladder/cage, service platforms, cabling, and wellhead. Materials are authored in a physically based workflow for consistent results in Unity, Unreal, Blender, and other engines. Wear and tear is kept believable: edge paint chipping, subtle rust blooms around bolts/welds, and light surface dents.
What’s included
- Source file: Blender (.blend) organized by collections
- Exports: .fbx (with materials)
- PBR texture sets: 2K (PNG)
- BaseColor (sRGB)
- Normal (Tangent, OpenGL)
- Roughness (Non-Color)
- Ambient Occlusion (Non-Color)
- Pivot setup: logical pivots on moving parts (beam, horsehead, linkages) – animation-ready
- Real-world units: meters; model fits ~6–7 m height range (standard pumpjack scale)
Technical
- Clean quads where it matters; triangulated export for engines
- Non-destructive workflow (modifiers applied on export)
- UVs: single non-overlapping set for the main mesh; consistent texel density
- Collision proxy included* (simple boxes)
Performance
- Optimized for mid-range PCs and consoles; works on URP/HDRP and Unreal default.
- Textures provided in 2K for memory-friendly builds.
Compatibility
- Blender 3.x+
- Unity (Standard/URP/HDRP) – plug-and-play PBR
- Unreal Engine 4/5 – default metallic/roughness workflow
Use casesIndustrial environments, oil fields, factory backlots, management/tycoon games, simulators, cinematics, and promo renders.
Notes
- Real-world scale; feel free to re-scale per project.
- Normal map uses OpenGL convention; in engines expecting DirectX, invert the green channel (Y).
