Designed for older Hornby Coaches to replace existing bogie with a version that has a NEM socket.

Was asked to produce a MK1 bogie by a customer after buying the MK2 bogie I had produced.The bogie has been designed considering strength against accuracy. If I had produced bogie 100% accurate it wouldn't be strong enough to use, so hopefully I have got a good balance between strength and accuracy.The bogie has been designed to replace the bogie on a R429/R430 GWR coach but will fit other Hornby coaches with the same bogie design.The person I designed it for printed it at 35deg X and 35deg Y when setting it up for printing, but please only use this as a suggestion as you might feel it needs to be printed differently.Design slightly redesigned 10/08/21

Example in photos was printed on an AnyCubic Photon Resin PrinterRecommend soaking in IPA after printing to help remove resin in holes where wheels go, once fully cured these holes may need to be drilled out slightly to enable free running.Also some filing maybe required after printing to remove printing supports.
