A true star of Genesis 1, my first short film, this one is BEAUtiful! Modelled and rigged by yours truly, this model is a stunning addition to any NPR animation!Do note the tongue is not rigged - everything else is FK.
Blend Features:
- Super low-poly base mesh - I used 3 subdivs on it.
- Texture embedded and zipped
- NPR shaders for Eevee included
- Whale texture included
- Post processing setup and node groups to create the cover image also included
FBX features:
- Functional rig
- The whale Texture
- Subdivision information that is convertable - again, on 3 levels
OBJ Features:
- Object in place - no movement
- Materials assigned to their host
- Texture
DAE features:
- Everything that FBX has, except that the mouth is acting up... Teeth aren't parented where they should be and the roon shader is broken.
Some example uses:
- Demonstrating larger sea life, like I did in Genesis 1
- Doccies about whales or using an extra whale character, like say a native american character with a call to change the minds of his tribe concerning war, gets rescued by a stray whale near the shore.
- Establishing location - like Finding Nemo where Nemo goes to school for the first time and we see the reef.
- Posed shots for posters
- Educational material about whales
- As an attraction at an aquarium or zoo
- Because it's a low-poly model, it can also be posed and edited for 3D printing as part of larger scenes objects.
On a personal note - I made a special artwork with this one I still wanna print and hang! SOOOOOO beautiful!
