While most people find his motives unclear, some argue that he is a former Overwatch agent determined to shed light on the conspiracy that ended the organization. While his true identity remains a mystery, he is believed to have been part of the US government's soldier enhancement program. He possesses physical abilities far superior to those of a conventional soldier, combined with further enhancements that make him an unrivaled fighter. In addition, he uses a state-of-the-art arsenal of warfare, mostly recovered during raids on Overwatch installations. Tireless in his search for those responsible for the fall of Overwatch, Soldier-76 will stop at nothing to get justice.
