The Pershing II was a mobile intermediate-range ballistic missile deployed by the U.S. Army (1983–1988) in West Germany, designed to launch from M790 Transporter Erector Launchers (TELs). These trailers, pulled by M983 HEMTT trucks, enabled shoot-and-scoot tactics by elevating the missile from a horizontal transport position to vertical in 5–10 minutes.
