The Overall Concept This asset tells a story of decay and the passage of time. It transforms a joyful playground staple into a haunting relic, perfect for post-apocalyptic, horror, or survival-themed game environments. The visual narrative is driven by heavy weathering and the reclaiming of man-made structures by nature.
Corroded Blue Steel Frame The once-vibrant blue paint is now chipped, faded, and peeling away. Underneath the paint layers, significant rust and oxidation have been modeled, particularly at the joints and base. The frame's surface is no longer smooth but pitted and textured to reflect decades of exposure to the elements.
Broken & Rusted Suspension The mechanical integrity of the set has failed. One swing is missing entirely, leaving behind a single, snapped chain dangling from the rusted top bar. The remaining swing hangs precariously by rusted, darkened chains that lack their original metallic luster.
Weathered Wooden Seat & Ivy Growth The seats have been swapped from rubber to a greyed, splintered wood texture to emphasize age. Reclaiming the structure is a detailed ivy vine system that wraps around the support legs, adding organic, twisting silhouettes to the rigid industrial frame.
