I've designed and built this Product rendering stage template to help aide those people who might not fully understand lights / rendering or those who dont have the time to mess around and build a stage from scracth.
In this template theres 5 custome models, simple set pieces, 6 lights, Key, Dome, Rim, Fill, Highlight and BG. This scene doesnt rely on the HDRI as I have edited it knocking out the harsh direct light so it only contributes minimaly to the scene.
It also includes surface imperfect materials, setup with correect IOR, spec etc - Metal, Glass and some simple plastics
I have set up Render layers for each of the individual assets which can easily be edited with your own models/ settings
Light AOV's for you to controll the Lights in an EXR comping workflow. All the images I've rendered have been ran through Davinci to get that extra bit of control.
Rendering settings have been tweaked and refined, they currently sit at a nice rendering time without sacrafising detail, Uses Optix Denoiser.
Overall, this is a great little setup which will save you time and stress of having to make something from scratch!
