Description
The RAF used this model of the Houchin GPU from the 1960s up until the 1990s on Helicopters and medium sized aircraft. They had a single lead and 6 pin square connector for a 24v power supply. Handy for Wessex, Puma & Sea-King. Buy yourself a Trolley-Acc to complement this model.
The model comes in a one piece and an exploded version. No cable is included, but the connector is, so use thin wire or nylon thread. The exploded model has the option of a closed cable trough. 2 versions of each are supplied. The small-scale version is slightly beefed up to make sure detail is not too fragile when making 1/48th scale and below
The size of the of the one piece object is (length, Width,Height) X: 3.21477m, Y:1.25417m, Z:1.59602m The Exploded object is X: 3.98419m, Y: 2.82232m Z: 1.6134m
Divide the longest dimension by your scale (1/32, 1/48 etc) to achieve the scale size to print/ A 1/32 one piece object will have an X: dimesion of 0.10046m or 100.46mm at 1/48th it will be 66.97mm Use your measurement in the appropriate (X) slot in your slicer, with constrain proportions selected. The Y & Z dimensions will change to fit the new size.
