The models were created based on sleepers used on European railroads. The rail gauge is 1435mm and the distance between sleepers is 0.6m. The models were designed to easily create tracks of any shape with no visible connections (for examples Array and Curve modifier in Blender). Each sleeper was modeled in two versions - with or without a rail. Models have been optimized for polygon count.
The following types of sleepers were modeled:
- wooden sleeper with rail clamps (IB type)
- wooden sleeper with SKL rail fastening system (IB_SKL type)
- concrete sleeper with SB-type rail fastening system (PS-83 type)
- concrete sleeper with SB-type rail clamps (PS-83K type)
- metal sleeper with SKL rail fastening system (Y type)
The mesh archive includes:
- .blend file with all models (you can get models from there without Triangulate modifier applied)
- files in FBX, OBJ and STL format for each mesh separately (with triangle mesh for better interaction with game engines)
The Texture archive includes:
- Standard PBR textures (BaseColor, Height, Metallic, Normal, Roughness, Emissive),
- Unity type textures (AlbedoTransparency, Emission, MetallicSmoothness, Normal),
- Unreal type textures (BaseColor, Emissive, Normal, OcclusionRoughnessMetallic),
- for each export type textures in 2048x2048px and 4096x4096px with 8-bit color depth (PNG format file)
