Asset Breakdown
Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a high-speed racing car from an alternate Steampunk past. It combines the sleek, cigar-shaped body of a 1930s Grand Prix racer with raw industrial materials like copper and brass.
Hammered Copper Body The bodywork is unique because it isn't smooth paint; it is made of hand-beaten copper sheets. The texture is full of small dimples and hammer marks, making the car look like it was crafted by a blacksmith rather than a machine.
Heat-Stained Exhaust Pipes Running along the side of the car are massive exhaust pipes. The metal near the end is discolored with blue, purple, and orange gradients, simulating the heat stain effect seen on real high-performance engines.
Exposed Spring Suspension At the front, the suspension springs are completely visible. These coiled metal parts connect the wheels to the body, adding a layer of mechanical complexity that fits the engineering-focused steampunk style.
Vintage Wire Wheels The car rolls on thin tires with complex wire-spoke rims made of brass. This classic wheel design emphasizes the vintage era of the vehicle while matching the metallic color palette of the body.
Technical Notes
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: The Exhaust Heat Stain is a beautiful detail. To make it pop, increase the Specular or Metallic value on the exhaust texture so the rainbow colors reflect light differently than the duller copper body.
