Robin ultralight helicopter

In 1949 Charles M Seibel filed a patent for a simplified pitch control mechanism for helicopters that would eliminate the need for a swashplate, thereby reducing weight and complexity. Obviously, his idea did not appeal to manufacturers because, as far as I know, it was never used. My Robin single-seat ultralight helicopter uses this mechanism. Although the model is not animated, mechanically-minded people should easily see that it is a feasible solution for replacing the swashplate. It has a lightweight tubular aluminium space frame and aluminium sheeting. The nose art is a Cap Robin Chat because it is the most colorful of the species. The colors represent the Irish flag.
